Urn Robin painted after the image on the mourning card
Last March my dear husband / our dad passed away after a period of illness, luckily we were able to say goodbye to him very well and lovingly, just before corona broke out. Mom was very clear about it; he would come home again, in an urn.
It turned out to be difficult to find a suitable urn. Luckily we soon ended up on the site of Butterflyurns.com / Phoenix urns. What really beautiful urns we saw there, and also so personal.
Michael immediately responded to our message and after sending the mourning card with the robin , a draft was soon created. Communication with Michael was very pleasant. How nice that we were kept informed through photos of the process.
The urn with the robin was delivered last week. When unpacking, together with mom (it was packed very neatly by the way...), we shed a tear. It is truly beautiful, even more beautiful than we had imagined. The robin has a very intense color and the background is very subtle.
My dear husband/our dad is coming home again.
Thank you so much Michael, you also gave us a big smile despite the sadness.

Urn Peonies and urn Swallows
Exactly at the same time our dear parents, side by side, died hand in hand.
When I visited the site, I immediately fell in love with the beautiful urns I saw.... I had never seen these before and was very enthusiastic. In addition, I thought that the site looked very neat, with an extensive explanation and a wide choice, even a custom design was one of the possibilities!
It goes without saying that the content of these urns means a lot to us, and then it is particularly nice if the urns are made with a lot of love !!! We are extremely grateful that you made these beautiful urns for our dear parents !!!

Dear Michael I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the beautiful Glasgow Rangers Urn for my lovely Hubbie. As with most people you want something to represent the loved one you have lost and that is something that you exceeded.
The urn itself is stunning and I was blown away when it came. The service was second to none, Michael kept me updated throughout all the process even going out of his way to ensure the Urn was on its way to me.
I am so eternally grateful for what you did for me. Means so much and it’s now pride of place in his Rangers room.

Michael, my family and I are delighted with the beautiful hand-painted urn that you made for us. It is a truly lovely piece of art. The real test for me was to imagine what my darling departed wife would have thought of it, and I know that she would have absolutely loved this urn, decorated with a picture of her favourite animal.
Thank you for providing us with such a perfect keepsake. I also want to thank you for your great communication throughout the process, and for your determination and perseverance in ensuring that the urn was delivered safely to me all the way down here.

Urn bowl special assignment after photo of flower arrangement
After my husband passed away, I made a personal flower arrangement on the coffin in which his hiking boots, hiking hat, walking stick, backpack, combined with flowers that he liked, were used.
For the ashes destination, I was also looking for something very personal. Thanks to Butterflyurns.com / Phoenix Urns® we succeeded.
Using photographs of the flower arrangement and the albatross image (referring to one of his favorite Fleetwood Mac songs, “Albatross”), Mr. van de Sande painted a very nice personal urn bowl that I am very happy with. Urn bowl special order custom decoration
We were looking for an urn for my father and luckily came across your site. We were immediately impressed by the beautiful and personal designs. We then contacted you via email and this was answered quickly and clearly.
Unfortunately, I never met you, but from day 1 we were confident that everything would turn out all right with the urn for our dad. Thanks for making some sketches for us. This gave us (but especially my mother) an idea of what it was going to be like.
Last week the urn arrived. In real life even more beautiful than in the picture! We would like to thank you very much for this beautiful urn bowl.
My mother is very happy, she hasn't had the candle out anymore.

Urn special order decoration according to the wishes of the family
After the cremation of my husband, I contacted Butterflyurns.com / Phoenix Urns® .
I stated my wishes and Michaël van de Sande made a design based on this. I had full say in the design and that has given me great satisfaction! Michaël kept me fully informed, from the process of drawing to glazing. It has become a unique urn, which I am very happy with. Highly recommended to give your loved one a place and to be able to look at it every day with melancholy.
